At Doodle Roots, we strive to stay grounded in the “ROOTS” of how the breed started and focus on creating a therapy temperament for all of our dogs. Therefore, we aim for a harmonious balance of impeccable health, good looks, phenomenal confirmation and excellent temperament. Once retired, it is our goal, for all of our breeding dogs to receive their Therapy Dog Certification. This certification will allow them to serve our schools, retirement homes and hospitals as therapy dogs. Furthermore, it is this commitment that ensures that each of our Doodle Roots families will receive a delightful Australian Labradoodle.
We love our dogs, value them and treat them like family. Therefore, they are all raised in our home or in a loving guardian home. So, whether you are looking for wonderful family pet or therapy dog, we are your family breeder.

Hattie Mae
Read’s Light of Cape Hatteras
Hattie Mae is a Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle at Doodle Roots. She lives in our home and is a small medium weighing in at 25 pounds. She has a silky caramel fleece coat and soulful golden eyes. Hattie is a very sweet, soft natured and a mild mannered girl. She is very low energy and most of the time you can find her napping on the couch, in her favorite humans lap or playing with our resident pet companion River or our other breeder girl Juno. Hattie loves to take rides in the car and is always up for a run at the dog park. She loves dogs and humans alike and we couldn’t be more pleased with our foundation girl.
Moreover, Hattie Mae is extremely intelligent, a fast learner and aims to please. Hattie loves attending training class and would prefer to work for a belly rub instead of a treat. In addition, Hattie comes from a long line of therapy dogs. So, we are hopeful she will also receive her therapy dog certification once her breeding career is over. Since Hattie has a calm/sweet demeanor, we plan to use her in local retirement homes where we are sure she will make many friends! Regardless, Hattie is a gentle soul that has a heart full of love that needs to be shared with others!
Hattie is definitely an all around wonderful Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle at Doodle Roots. We are thankful to have her in our program. Hattie had her first litter in October of 2021 and they were absolutely amazing! They had wonderful temperaments, their coats were super soft and stunning looks. (You can check them out here Hattie’s first litter)
If you are looking for a perfect family companion or a therapy dog – she is your girl.

Juno
Coastal Wave of Jupiter
Juno (aka Puppy Girl) comes to us from sunny Jupiter, Florida from our friends at Coastal Labradoodles. She is a Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle at Doodle Roots. Juno lives in my home and has matured to be a small-medium girl weighing 27 pounds. She has a gorgeous, full caramel coat with white markings. Juno is the most confident and friendly girl we have ever been around! You would think she has been on this earth for years the way she approaches each new challenge. Therefore, it is so fascinating to see the world through her eyes and how she greets each new person. Her favorite things to do is meet new people, go for walks, play with her brother and sister and sleep on the back of the couch!
Moreover, Juno is extremely smart, a fast learner and will do anything for a treat. Juno has been a star in all of her training classes and simply amazes us at how fast she catches on. Once Juno is finished with her breeding career, we plan to certify her as a therapy dog to work in our local schools. Juno has a golden heart that wants to love on others, so we know she will be a wonderful addition to the hallways!
Juno is definitely an all around wonderful Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle at Doodle Roots. We are thankful to add her as one of our foundation dogs.
Juno welcomed her first litter in August of 2022 and they were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, confident, loving and brought so much joy. We know that her puppies will continue to bring happiness to their families.

Birdie
South Mitten’s Little Snowbird
Birdie comes to us from our friends at South Mitten Labradoodles in snowy Tecumseh, Michigan. Birdie has past our extensive health testing and is officially a breeder at Doodle Roots. Birdie is our first mini girl and has matured to be 20 pounds. Birdie currently lives in a guardian home with my parents. She has gorgeous Irish spotting that compliment her Apricot soft, curly, fleece coat. Our little Birdie has a huge heart for her people, loves to go on adventures and is that typical happy doodle whose tail is constantly wagging. Her favorite thing to do is play fetch with her favorite ball, romp around the yard and run errands with her human.
Moreover, Birdie is super intelligent, fun loving and easily trainable. She is the life of the party and there is never a dull moment as long as Birdie is around. As much as Birdie loves to play, she just as easily settles into a nap on the arm of the chair. We love her size as you can take her anywhere. Birdie has already stolen our hearts and we love her!
Birdie will produce puppies that will have wonderful soft coats, big personalities and a mini size. She welcomed her first litter in August of 2022 and we are thrilled to have her as one of our female breeders at Doodle Roots!

Trapper
Doodle Roots Keeper of My Heart
Trapper is one of upcoming studs born right here at Doodle Roots. He comes from our “Back to School” litter between Juno and Moondoggie. He is a gentle soul with a love for all humans and animals. He has big puppy dog eyes that really seem to draw you in and melt your heart. If you ever meet him, he is sure to greet you with a tail wag or a sweet puppy kiss. He is the sweetest boy with a heart of gold. He should mature to be medium in size and has a gorgeous Apricot roan coat. Trapper will undergo extensive health testing in the upcoming months and will hopefully enter our program in 2023.
Trapper lives in a guardian home with Allison Timaji.
